Apple RAM

Hi All,

I have the latest model 27" iMac i5 which has been upgraded to 16gb of crucial RAM. Now i have the original 8Gb of Apple RAM spare that i want to install in my Macbook Pro i5 (again latest model) as it only has 4Gb.

Does any one know if the Apple iMac RAM is compatible with Macbook Pro?

best bet is to look up on crucial the type of memory for each and cross reference the type and speeds.

OWC also have a good reference site for all things mac, I used Crucial ram when upgrading my MacBook Pro it's made a great difference. Maybe look at cheap SSD, Ebuyer email a few days ago had some on special, if you opening up for ram it's only a 2min job to change drive & that made a Hugh difference for me.
