Aperuture text

Hi

I am a new mac user (and love it). I I've bought aperture for my editing but I am wondering how to add text to a photo?

Could somebody help me?

I dont have a mac or aperture, but a quick search may have found what you were looking for?

There are other for watermark etc.

Got Photoshop ? Set up Aperture preferences to use Photoshop as external editor. Export in PSD format. Add text layer, type, save and you'll find it back in Aperture complete with layers so you can re-edit if needed.
Check out guygowan.com for great Aperture/Photoshop tutorials (subscription needed). Worth it to learn a LOT !!

I downloaded this Aperture plug in the other day. It's free. Its main use is for adding borders but it also allows texts and watermarks. Really handy and easy to use.

As above BorderFX user here, and it sholud do nearly all the text writing you ever want on a photo.

I've downloaded it and it seems to do the job. Just need to work out how to use it, when I add text it seems to save it as an uncropped version rather than the version I am editing.
