I've just switched over to Aperture for my workflow and PP.

A question for Aperture users please...

Which free plug-ins do you use and rate highly ?

Also how robust and reliable are they, given they are third party applications ?

Any contributions would be very gratefully received.

I too would love to hear the same as the OP

Hi chaps

I use the Export BorderFX and Facebook plugins. These are both free and good, but I also use Noise Ninja (which is excellent) but I did pay for that one.

Thanks JohnT :)

Anyone else use some other plug-ins ?

Would be very interested also.

How are these plug-ins installed?

EDIT: Stepping up from iPhoto will be well worth it when im all sorted...

If you were ever going to pay for any plugins ever, it would have to be Nik Software's Silver Efex Pro and Color Efex Pro. In-di-f******-spensible!

I had been using BorderFX, but after some conversations about borders and writing in them stopped. I was also having some odd effects with the video display mucking up. I haven't been using any other plugins, but I shall watch with interest

Re Nik Software

and you do buy their plug-ins, buy the Aperture set.

It saves hundreds of pounds!

Thanks for all the comments thus far...i've seen a few bad comments elsewhere on BorderFx so will be giving that a wide berth. The Nik Software looks great except the £279 price tag for the complete set, so will have to work up to that perhaps.

Anyone else use some plug-ins ? This has been very helpful so far :)
