Aperture Question.

Right this is a weird one .....

I have been going through my projects and albums doing some house keeping and I have come across duplicate master and version images.

I thought that it was strange as I have aperture set not to import duplicates, upon close investigation these are not duplicates as they all have the same filename.

What is even more funny is when I select the top image from one stack the top images from the other two "duplicated" stacks gets highlighted as well.

I have resisted the "Lets see what happens if" niggles as it has been nagging me to try and delete one of the duplicates but the sensible part of my brain.... (And yes I think I still have one....) has resisted.

Anyone got any ideas...

Are they all the same size as well?

They may be the settings for changes you made to virtual copies of the master image?

Just checked they are all the same.... when I select one version and look at the exif info it the same as I others but I do not have to select them as they are already high lighted.....

Weird Eh...

Is there an option in aperture or a function for re-indexing the library. May be its confused.
