One for the Aperture experts here! Im a newbie with using it, and im still finding my way around it. My problem is this:
I have imported all the existing photos on my Mac, but left them in their original locations.
I want to update my website a bit with some better images, so i created a project called 'clikpic'. What I then wanted to do was wade through my image folders, and duplicate the images i wanted into a new version. No problem..managed that.
I then tried to move the new version into the clikpic folder, but when I do that it moves the Master image as well. What I actually *wanted* to do was go through all my folders, pick the keepers, move them, re-edit a few, and upload them. I wanted to leave the original images in their respective folders though.
What am I doing wrong. Is my workflow all ar$e about face? Workflow has never been my strongpoint
