the price i pay for talk talk is next to nothing and I get quite a good service but been with them for about 5 years. I did hear a few bad things for new customers when they offered the free broadband a while back and not too sure if it is all sorted now, but my own experience has been spot on.
They say up to 8mb line but I get 4.5mb download speeds which is ok i suppose.

I have a friend who was driven to the point of insanity by Talk Talk when getting her service transferred to a new address.

I've had Plusnet for many years. Rock solid and dependable. Zero spam. Well not quite zero. I maybe get 2 or 3 a year now, but they soon get on top of them.

Had a lot of problems changing over but since then Tiscali have proved OK.

At £20 a month for broadband, phone line and calls, it ticks all the boxes

I'm with BT and have NEVER had a problem in the 6 years i have been with them. They also have virus protection server side so pretty safe.

sky for me, if you already have sky tv, then the top broadband is a tenner i think, and free evening and weekend phonecalls. you can also pay your line rental through them which is a bit cheaper than bt if i remember correctly

I've also used Plusnet and found them to be good. In fact I've now just transferred my landline to them and get all my landline telephone calls free as part of the package costing about £24 month for line rental, broadband and telephone calls (to 01, 02 and 03 numbers - so that's most apart from the 0845 type).

Line rental, broadband and some free calls for less than £20. Add gas and leccy and get free calls all week. Then use a discount card and get mucho discounts off your utility bills. I got £42.59 knocked off this month.
