For what it's worth I don't think it looks cheap, but the exif data being in a white background is distracting.

Sorry I can't help in any other way

What haggis says and the pictures are not big enough.

can't help with setting it up,but who is empire, is that you? i think look lot better with a slightly larger pic in the top right corner and probably lose the blue border round the pics. but looks good to me

I reckon Empire is the template name, what gallery are you using? I can't tell. I've used Gallery2 before which works quite well with Joomla.

Hi

Empire is the template name. I think i am using gallery 2 it just doesn't seem to work that well.

Thanks anyway.

The lightbox function doesn't appear to be working, at least on the images I tried (landscape gallery)

The template is ok, but I feel the links on the left are a bit small, could be bigger perhaps?

Welcome to visualisetheworld. I am currently a student photographer who has been taking photos around a year. I started off with boat photography as my main hobby and now I have expanded into a wide range and format of photography.

Please feel free to browse around the website and if you have any questions or would like to order a print please contact me via the contact form.

Thanks for visiting

Just made a couple of changes to your homepage text as well, hope you don't mind :)

Obviously it's still a work in progress, but I'd lose the links page and the FAQ page, if it were down to me :)

Have a look at Coppermine if you dont think Gallery 2 works for you, I prefer it. There is a bridge for Coppermine - Joomla too.
