Anyone watching the Murdochs being interrogated?

What I think is ridiculous is the fact that the member of the public got arrested for throwing
a foam pie (not exactly going to cause serious injury) yet Murdoch's wife didn't get arrested for punching him! She wasn't doing it in self defence because the pie wasn't thrown at her

So if you saw someone being attacked you would stand by and do nothing? Especially if it was a family member, your kids or partner?

At the time how was she to know it was foam, could have been laced with some chemical?

That doesn't matter. Under common law powers of self-defence, you can act in defence of another, and also use force to prevent crime under s3 Criminal Law Act 1967.

Believe me, the reaction of Murdoch's wife is not really in the public interest to pursue - she didn't set out to assault anybody when she entered the room that day. The foam pie thrower committed a simple act of Common Assault.

Now you're here Chris, did you see the Three Musketeers this morning - Stevenson, Yates and Fedorcio?

Another Red Letter day for the Met.......

Biggest exhibition of "Wasn't me boss" I have ever seen. Talk about a fantastic demonstration of passing the buck doesn't do the interviews justice.
When it comes to the crunch not one of them has the balls to admit they were at fault.

To be fair to both the Murdochs and Brooks (who, on past experience has a knack of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time) ,the likelihood of future criminal proceedings arising from this debacle would mean they'd be acting on legal advice not to incriminate themselves or admit any liability.
