As title, doe any other forumers watch NCIS? I love it, and am stoked to see that Season 6 premiers on FX (Sky 164) next month...big changes but I won't give too much away.

Anyone else into NCIS?

Not me but, if my wife misses an episode, she turns into a raging monster:eek:

Abby , Ziva and not forgetting Kate,
Naw never seen it :D

Never watched it, nope....

:naughty:

Yup, I sky+ them, and cold case and bones, sad eh?

I used to watch it but gave up after watching them massively increase an onscreen image and get crystal clear results from it, rollox!

Ziva Ziva Ziva...oh lordy....and Abby......good god. Kate was cool, but I'll take her or leave her lmao

worried I watch this all the time and I have no idea who kate is........
how far ahead is the US - I don't think I could miss a whole season without noticing :S

I watched one or two a long while ago but never latched on to it. I go round my neighbours for afternoon tea and stuff 2 or 3 times a week. They have tv in the kitchen usually showing some film on 5. The advertising for this and the CSIs is relentless - on and on every ad break. Straight away that stops me watching it.

Or how far behind are you?

Kate was the ex presidential bodyguard who joined NCIS in the first episode of the first series. She was with the team for 2 or 3 full series before leaving in rather dramatic fashion. Ziva was her replacement!

I've put this NCIS on my list for consideration then. A couple more series which I'm finding to be pretty good are Life and Leverage. Life S1 has shown on some channel here and I acquired S2 from the usual sources. About a cop framed for murder, serves 12 years then gets found to be innocent and goes back to his old job. A quirky unconventional character and interesting. Leverage hasn't been shown here yet. Ex-insurance investigator and a group of crooks set about righting the corporate wrongs and avenging corruption. Quite good.

A series which I would thoroughly recommend is a New Zealand one - Seven Periods with Mr Gormsley. Two short seasons of seven episodes, it's about an old style ex-army teacher taking on a class of unruly wasters in a small NZ school. Refreshingly and unbelievably politically incorrect, I can't see it ever being shown here.

I never watch it.....:whistling:

Abby is the best :notworthy:

Life looks very very good, although I must admit to not watching any of it yet. It's stars Damian Lewis (of Band of Brother's fame) as a cop framed for murder, and upon his release from jail is offered compensation. Refusing this he asks only or his job back. It looks very, very good, and I will get round to watching some of it!

Adam, Pauley Perrette is lovely, but she looks way better in NCIS than in that picture

He doesn't refuse the compensation. He gets something like $50m, taking his old job while trying to uncover who framed him. He has a partner (Sara Shahi from Alias) who finds him to be strange and irritating. And yes, it is very very good.

Cheers MrE, all I know is what I'd read on the likes of IMDB etc, must have a watch. I'm just waiting to see when the new NCIS starts...and also trying to decide whether to buy the soundtrack, just for the theme tune

I know but I was trying to find a picture of Abby similar to the one of Ziva above but they were only small images in Google. Looking forward to watching her tonight :D

Gone downhill since Kate took one in the bonce, but Pauly Perette makes up for it still...

Just started re-watching all the box-sets coincidentally...lol

Pauly Perrette is a sweetheart. I liked Kate, but Ziva wins for me. And the whole La Grenouille theme was excellent. I'm not sure how I'll like the new director compared to Lauren Holly though.

Ziva doesn't really do it for me...besides, a Hispanic actress playing an Israeli? C'mon...

lmao, I don't care. She's still lovely :D

New series starts April 17th at 9pm on FX (Sky 164)

Well, I watched my very first one a couple of nights ago - the one with a stakeout on a storage locker with something hi-tech inside. I was adequately interested in it. I think I'll keep my eyes open for a first series dvd set at a suitably cheap price (can't be bothered scavenging around for downloads).

Yes, NCIS is one of the only programs I like as of recent,

Yep another vote here, although i do think i preferred caitlin, shame the way she went :'(, oh and of course they do use Nikon cameras which has to be a bonus :D
