Has anyone used this company or these lights.

They seem a good spec and and look better than the usual ebay lights.I think they are the same as those sold by Rocwing. I have also been considering the Quantuum lights from Poland which had a decent write up on here a while ago but they are out of stock. I know you guys always recommend lencarta and other more expensive kit but these lights are at the very top of my budget and I am not in a position to go any higher.

These particular lights are the same as many others sold under differerent names.

The spec is actually pretty poor, but the 200Ws one does seem to be pretty good value for money (IMO the 600Ws one isn't anywhere near such good value).

I see however that they haven't even bothered to replace the Chinese plugs with British ones, so you'll need to do that yourself.

It does say supplied with UK 3 pin plug. What is poor about the spec?? Not being funny just dont know a great deal about studio flash.

OK, I didn't see that bit about the plug.

It only adjusts down to 1/8th power, you can work around that limitation by putting a neutral density gel in front of the light if you want to reduce the power more, so it isn't a major hurdle.

The lights aren't fan cooled and only have a 150watt modelling lamp. It's possible that they may overheat if the modelling lamp is left on for too long.

Although the page doesn't seem to say so, the lights seem to take S-fit accessories, which is good.

I did ask about them not being fan cooled and was assured that they can run 3-4 hours with no problems although I am a bit sceptical about these claims.

I have bought from these guys
I bought
1 x 200ws head kit
1 x 200ws head
1 x snoot
Ultimatly you get what you pay for, these are budget chinese manufactured lights and are priced competitively.
With that said they apear to be well built they do come with UK plugs.
I agree with their claimed 1 second recycle time on full power but its even faster recycle if you drop the power.
I had a look at the barn doors they sell as well while I was over collecting my lights. They seem to be of good quality and I intend on picking some up.
I would say is the stand supplied as part of their kit really cant take a softbox or other modifier of any great weight.
I am just about happy with my 60cm box and wouldnt want to put anything heavier fully extended.
If your on a budget I would say you could get alot worse for your money, I have been pleased with them in general. But as Gary rightly said the 1/8th min power is a bit of a pain in the arse.
Mine came with 75w modeling bulbs one of which has gone already (after 3 short shoots) but I have replaced them both with 10p energy saving bulbs from Tesco and they work fine providing you dont mind only having one power setting for the modeling light.
Its each to there own really, would I buy them again....yes, if I didnt want to spend more than £200 for a two light, snoot, umbrella, stand set up.
