Yes
interfit stellar 300?
Someone local selling a 3 head kit with stands etc.
I have some old Courtney solaflash 1000/2000 heads from the eighties, and wondered if the Stellars would be an upgrade?
Any thoughts appreciated.

The Stella is old technology compared to many others, but they are sound and one of the best of the Interfit products. They will be a massive upgrade to your old Courtenay lights.

I've used a few of the Stellar heads (not the newer Stellar X), the fact there's still quite a few floating around speaks well of them but as with any kit that's over 10 years old you they should be costing you very little at which point they're almost worth buying just for the accessories.

As Gary says they're old technology and they were never top of the line when they were new so with realistic expectations you shouldn't be disappointed.

The important question, how much?

3 lights, 3 stands, silver brolly, white brolly and a bag for it all.
£100 on gumtree.

In what way would it be an improvement over the Courtney?

Where do I start?
Range of adjustment, colour temperature accuracy, recycling speed, power output, modifier fitting...

Thanks for the replies guys. I think I may be tempted to give them a try.
I'll let you know:)
