Looking on the bay the 40mm PE is a lot more expensive than the MC one, well I know about the differences, but is the 40mm MC very sharp with good distortion attributes..if not that leaves the next one the 50mm which should be easier to design and in theory be better, also cheaper to buy. H'mm but the Etrsi 50mm is duplicating my 65mm RB67 lens :bang: so I really made a cockup in the past by not just concentrating on one system

I have the 40mm MC. I have just got a roll of velvia back and I'll scan that in and have a look.

I have taken images with the 35mm pano back with this lens but obviously this only uses the centre section of the lens and not the corners.

What I do know from a quick look at the images is that the Lee 62mm standard filter adaptor vignettes with this lens.

Thanks..About the RB67:- If I knew in the past, that in the future was going to do less portraiture and no darkroom work (it was great at the time for less problems with spots being a large neg, for expensive colour prints)....would have bought only the ETRSI with a full set of lenses, because it is lighter, can be used like a 35mm and is more convenient to take on holidays abroad.
