Anyone used Camerabox?

A friend has just asked me if they are any good?
He's looking to buy a compact and Camerabox have the lowest price but he wanted to make sure it was a genuine UK product, not a grey import etc.

Can anyone offer any insight please?

never used them to be honest. What camera are you looking for? Have you tried www.pricerunner.co.uk (searches for cheapest prices) or also try ebuyer, they've had some good prices on DSLR's lately, so might have some on compacts too.

Reviews on Pricerunner seem generally good, however the bad ones tend to be about the cameras sold being grey imports. Camerabox reasoning that buying stock in 'europe' means it's not a grey import doesn't hold true though.
As long as you're happy with the price and check with the manufacturer that a non uk model will be covered by them then I'd say go for it.
