Hi

They've got a Billingham Packington that I'm after for about £30 less than anywhere else. They've got an eBay shop (28500 f/b @ 99.8%), a presence on Amazon and a stand alone site.

Years of intense cynical training is telling me "if it's too good to be true....." but I though I'd ask you chaps if you'd had any experience.

Thanks in advance

Mark

Yes I've bought a couple of bags from them through Amazon before

I bought a Crumpler bag of them, about six weeks ago. Also, bought a plastic 77mm lens hood of them last week, delivered next day for the total sum of £3.29, excellent value.

Thank you chaps. I think they're going to have a new customer very soon.

I've also used them for a few odds and ends, always been fine.

mostly been fine, have dragged their feet when ive been sent wrong stuff, but atleast it was cheap wrong stuff

I've used them.
Their premises are a short distance from my house, so although they deliver free, I've actually popped in and picked stuff up in person.
Really good prices on most things but not necessarily everything, so be careful.

Thanks Guys.

@Brian G - they're not too far from me either so it's interesting to know they don't mind you picking up from them direct. I'll defo be using them in the future.

I ended up going with a Billingham 225 which I managed to bag (excuse the pun) from Amazon for £163 which is ludicrously cheap. Most other places are doing it for £260, Camera King was the next cheapest @ £230.

Within 30 seconds of my purchase being confirmed Amazon then put the price up to £236.50!!??

I'd been monitoring the price of the 225 for about 10 days (directly with Amazon and via Camera Price Buster) and it had been gradually coming down in price, all the while they were registering only 2 in stock. As soon as I buy mine they debit their stock by one and stick over £70 on the price - odd marketing ploy.

Thanks again everyone

If you order on-line, when you get to the checkout stage, under "Shipping method" there is the option of "Collect your products in store"
Their place is an industrial unit off Stonefield Way, near Wickes.
