I'm currently considering my hosting options/web site design. I currently use Clikpic which is pretty good but very limited on website design/options & not quite a professional looking as I would like...

I came across the 123-reg "Instant site" which is a similar idea, saves me having to fully construct a site, has/does anyone use it or have any experience ?

Alternatively I'd welcome other suggestions

thanks

simon

Not used it but from what I see of the templates I think you would outgrow it very quickly.

I host sites mate, silly money on uk servers with fantastico deluxe. Includes coppermine and a couple of other one click gallerys and joomla.

If you need any hosting pm me i can usually set it up if you give me your domain log in and get it online in 10 mins.

I dont sell it as a rule i host my site and friends sites normally.

Never had an issue with downtime and more one click installs than you can shake a stick at.

depending on how much bandwidth the site will use you are looking at 30-40 quid a year with all the scripts and installs free.

PS theres about 60 one click website templates and online editor of the sites included in that above too.

I've looked at Coppermine before but it doesn't exactly grab me, I'll have a look at Joomla though...

Steep.. I agree with you on the templates, it's one of the main reasons I'm changing from Clikpic - too limited

I also have Dreamweaver but not sure if I really want to get embroiled in building my site from scratch

thanks

hmm.. well I used to work for 123-reg.

InstantSite is very limited, the templates arnt very good either and not very customisable.

I hated it, because it was hard to support. Also because it was crap and I usually voiced the opinion to get it removed.
