I'm after a pen and tablet for editing in cs5 and lr4. Has anyone any experience with these and windows 7/8?

ive used the older white bamboo, was good for the price i just found that i kept reaching for the mouse so sold it on. worked fine on W7. we use the higher end wacom intous at work (on mac) and theyre also very good.

what do you want to know?

Just fancy it for PP, easier to trace edges etc in photos than a mouse.....
Or isn't there much difference?

They are good but you have to "retrain" yourself to use it. After a while they do get intuitive but initially, as Neil says, you reach for the mouse all of the time.

There was a virtually one fore sale in the classifieds too.

yeah they do take some getting used to. its almost worth disconnecting the mouse and chucking it in the cupboard.

I have used the black bamboo touch for about 3 months for PP in Lightroom and CS6. I wouldn't be without it. Yes you will go to your mouse for certain things but it can't be beaten for tracing and fine adjustments etc.

I would recommend it.
