Anyone use Photo Mechanic?

Seen this about a few places, latest was on Zack Arias' blog. Just wondered if anyone out there uses it, and how fast it is compared to something like Aperture? Is it a worthwhile addition? Main reason i have been thinking of it is if I cover music events and need pics away speedily.

Is it as fast as they make it out to be?

Any opinions would be good.

Yes.

I tried the trial, but couldn't justify the extra spend due to the lower number of shoots I do.

If I were doing regular shoots which needed a same day turnaround, time sensitive stuff like gigs, sports etc then I could probably justify it, but I don't, so I can't.

its only fast if you use it fast and to its full potential.. sports togs like it because it speeds up the process of adding info to the pics... ability to use tagged words etc

i cant compare it to aperture.. never tried.
