Anyone use or know users of Clairol Perfect 10 hair colour? I have been using this to colour my missus's hair for years, but it seems it's been discontinued. Been onto the Clairol website, and all they say it's been discontinued, but give no alternative choices. If you or your other half, or anyone you know used this, what do they use instead?

On their website, customers are asking why the product has been taken off, and what's an alternative. Some strange replies from Clairol. Who suggest customers try another brand  Maybe most other brands belong to Clairol anyway !

Procter & Gamble own Clairol and many other brands. Not sure which of the other brands do hair colourants but it'll tell you the parent company (or corporation!) on the box.

Thanks

Just strange replies from Clairol, suggesting customers use another brand. Why on earth would a business do that?

I don't know whether this was one of the links you found, but it's suggesting Nice'n'Easy Age Defy as an alternative - still made by Clairol.
In fact it looks like they had a colour match page there at one point to map your old Perfect 10 shade to the relevant Age Defy one.

I doubt it.
That link refers to hair dyes used in salons not over-the-counter home dye kits.
I suspect it's just a marketing decision to discontinue an old line and focus everything into the Nice'n'Easy brand.

I wouldn't fancy some men's chances if they went home with a box marked "Age Defy"!

Jon, since Clairol seem to have discontinued the stuff you used to use and don't have anything similar to replace it in their range, I would guess that they've suggested other P&G ranges that might do the job rather than products from another umbrella organisation.

Not another "my mate got caught speeding thread"? Fess up, you've been colouring your own hair haven't you. ;)

The missus has tried loads already out there, but perfect 10 worked best. The one they suggested, my missus has already tried. But results in frizzy hair :-(
