Anyone use iPad Pro for event photography processing?

I'm romanticising the idea of using an iPad Pro for photo editing and misc, but I'm not sure what QoL improvement it would bring - if any.

Currently - I like to use photo mechanic to create my selection, then import those into Lightroom - batch crop ratio to 5x7, apply personal preset - then go through each image to typically - adjust wb, crop, exposure. Export them all with watermark at 3600px

Does anyone in a similar position have an iPad Pro for editing, and what benefit does it offer?
 
Event photography covers a huge range or processes.

Can you explain what sort of event photography you're doing, as I don't recognise that workflow.

What do you feel that an iPad will give you that a laptop doesn't?

I have a laptop, a Dell XPS 13.

I only use it for holiday photos, but because of the slowness I often skip over images I don't feel are worth the trouble of processing.

It might be due to the native resolution of 3200x1800 that Lightroom is rendering the images too 'large' for it to handle.
The touchpad is fiddly and the touchscreen does not give the precision a pen on ipad would.
Using a mouse means remembering to take it and having somewhere to use it on, but usually in bed on holiday processing images.

I couldn't bare trying to use it for professional work.

I have a a dell xps 13 2018 quad core I7 and can happily use it to cull and edit in lr. Infact I did when I travelled to Norway Oslo hehe :)
Upgrade your laptop to the latest whiskey lake quad core notebooks like the dell xps or even the razer blade stealth
