anyone use a macro ring flash with their 80D

I am looking at buying a macro ring flash to try with my 80D and was going to buy the Sigma EM 140 DG but it isn't compatible at the moment with the 80D and neither is the Nissin version going by the compatibility chart on their website.
There is also the much cheaper Yongnuo ring flash but don't know if it works ok with the 80D.
Have any other 80d users tried a ring flash yet?
