Just want to get an idea of how big it is really?
Done a Google image search, but there's not many pics on there.....

Would be great if some body could tell me the gear they carry, or even a piccie or two ;)

I use one. No pics to hand but it will hold a canon 40D with grip and 70-200 f/2.8 attached comfortably. I also carry a few other (physically) smaller lenses, lightmeter, 550ex flash gun, and loads of accessories. It also holds my notebook size laptop plus charger and cables.

It's an extremely versatile bit of kit. If I had one gripe it would be when it's really packed heavy it tends to pull me over backwards, especially if you have a heavy tripod strapped on the back of it!

I can relate to that  I should have mentioned I have the Vertex 200. I've taken to fastening my tripod onto the side rather than the back now as it doesn't unbalance the load as much for me.

Thanks guys - that's a big help.

I think I'm going to have to get the 200.
Although  @ the price :D

I can relate to that Leon. I used to fix my tripod to the side on the occasions that I used the 200. Glad you are still enjoying the bag

Chris :)

i got a good deal on a vertex 100AW from ebay, great bag, can fit loads of gear, gripped 450d with a sigma 24-70 f2.8, nifty 50, 65 macro, 55-250, tam 70-300, flash, cables, laptop, though i tend to carry my tripod in it's own shoulder bag
hope that helps
cheers

Thanks for all the advice.
I think I'll need a 200

I've put a wanted ad in the classifieds section, as they are £100 new

Well I couldn't do it.
£100 is too much for me to spend on a bag, so I went for the 100. Not as though I have tonnes of gear!!!

Arrived this morning. And very nice it is too. Just managed to cram everything in it

Just one thing, does anyone know a way of strapping a tripod to the side?
I can't figure it out.......
