Anyone tried these?

yeah, they're the generic chinese brolly mounts and brollies. do the job, and you're not too worried about the umbrellas suiciding in the wind, which ALL umbrellas will do regardless of how expensive they are, so just go for the cheap ones like these. From the sites below you can get the white ones for about £4 each.

those mounts don't play too well with sb600s, better to get http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Umbrella-Hold...66:2|39:1|72:1683|240:1318|301:1|293:1|294:50

and the umbrellas, you can get for not much off ebay, or from www.dealextreme.com or focalprice iirc...

yes, not ones from this particular ebay seller, but they look like all of the chinese brollies that I've seen and owned personally. I use the brolly mounts personally, but need to get one of the ones I linked for my sb600... my mate's got one, they're not bad... not as good as the really sturdy manfrotto ones, but they do the job fine. the mounts in the item you linked to, I can still hang my 1.5m diameter and thus pretty heavy brolly from without any complaints :)

Much as I try I can't tell if i'll need a light stand as well or if they'll attach to my tripod.
I'd prefer a tripod mountable bracket to keep costs down.
What do you think?
