A friend of mine, who's a graphic designer, suggested putting some of my snaps on istock http://www.istockphoto.com. Just wondered if anyone has used this or similar photo stock sites? If so, how's it worked out for you?

I have been considering Almany, stock photography doesn't seem worth the hassle unless you've got 00,000's of images on there.

Ive started with alamy-wouldnt bother with istock microstock sells for pitance-wheras alamy can make a couple of hundred a picture-but as said you need thousands of images and need to choose your subjects well.
Also make sure they are resized the way alamy like and not resharpened or youll never get accepted.
