Yet to try my old XE1 at night, but concerned after my previous camera, a 6D, performed so well. Anyone post anything to ease my concerns?

There are several online astro blogs that have discussed using the Fujis and the relative merits of the lens line-up - Google should turn them up, I don't have any of them bookmarked. Anything relevant to one Fuji-X model will be relevant to all the others, the -E1 and -Pro1 are essentially the same camera and the differences between the -E1 and the -E2/T1 are minimal.

Will have a look, thanks

I was intending to try shooting the milky way with an X-T1 while on holiday in the South of Crete - no light pollution so would have been good BUT a combination of ouzo, vino plonko and raki made me forget all about manually focussing on a distant spot first and the EVF was too noisy to get focus on any stars... My fault entirely and would think that the results would have been as good as any other APS-C sensor had I not been a focal tuckwit!
