Anyone remember Pob?

YES!!!
Weirdest puppet ever.

He used to spit at the screen!!

That's nothing I've ever come across TBH
And something's should just remain a "Mysthtery" :D

Ah yes Spit the dog, real classy that one
:D

TISWAS - Today is Saturday, Watch and Suffer! Can't remember it at all, I bet Chris Tarrant can't either.

Spit the Dog was a classic that I remember like yesterday but I don't remember Cough the Cat at all.

Blimey - blast from the past...As a kid I hated it....magic roundabout was more my bag.....so I am told, although that springy thing used to confuse me....

At work today, a problem elicited the line from my sales manager "Anything can happen in the next half hour!" which we both recognised!

What actually happened in the next half hour was that we agreed that although we remembered Stingray, we were just a bit too young to remember much about either Fireball XL5 or Supercar!

More of a Metal Mickey / Rentaghost fan myself.

I had to google Metal Mickey!
Rentaghost is being made into a film with Ben Stiller apparently.

Metel Mickey :woot:

No one seems ever to remember Patsy Kensit (about the same era IIRC)
Playing "Luna" though.

b****r! :(
I've not seen it in awhile TBH,
I thought she was at least topless though?

Loved Pob. There was a lad in my class in school called Paul O'Brien and his nickname was Pob. Didn't the dirty little b****r used to spit on the camera lens?

I have to admit when I saw the title of the thread I got too excited and had to reply without reading it! I noticed that someone else had already pointed it out :) He was a proper dirty rat wasn't he?! I'm sure this used to be on alongside one called Five Children and It. That was another mental one.

It was nuts. Loads of Victorian kids find a dirty little gollum thing in a sandpit and it becomes their best mate. I hope I'm not imagining it.
