Anyone recommend an L bracket for Olympus OMD EM1?

No
I've got a cheapy one off ebay and frankly it's as good as any of the expensive ones I've had a play with.

They're great actually as for me it makes the grip just a tiny bit deeper so it fits my hand perfectly without having to use the full grip.

I should also say it needs to be the NON arca type as all my stuff is manfrotto QR etc.

That one you link to and AFAIK all such brackets have a mounting point for a standard tripod and that means you could attach a Manfrotto QR plate to it....................unless I have misunderstood why you want an L bracket for panorama shooting???

PS if you wish to move the L bracket along its length of attached point (or for any other variation of control?) then the alternative to what I say above is to use an Arca clamp attached to a Manfrotto QR plate :) A bit belt and braces but IMO there is yet to be an L bracket with Manfrotto 'attachment point/method'

Aye, I had a feeling that would be the case, was thinking the best way is simply to put a manfrotto plate on both tripod screws and use like that. I did find a manfrotto specific one but it's £120!

The manfrotto one is good though ! I've got one and it's quality
