I really ought to find something to post
about this but I guess I'll just leave it![]()
Is this referring to the "exterminator" written below your user name?
My pops had them on an allotment - they didn't live with us. They were fun but I'm glad to be rid of them because we stopped really caring about the honey etc. after moving away from the allotment and it became a bit of a chore.
Really fun prior to that though!
My parents keep bees.
Im guessing the OP was watching BBC 4 tonight.![]()
Quick guide to a bee keepers year here http://www.beekeeping.co.uk/beekeepers_guide.htm
I think bees are fascinating and would love to keep some. Unfortunately where I live it's just not feasible. Roll on my £66million win tonight.
So, that means you could capture a swarm for me?![]()
I live in a block of 10 maisonettes, with no garden. The communal area is a magnet for the local low-life teenagers... you know they type - drink until they vomit everywhere, p*ss against any surface they find, then vandalise their surroundings. A hive wouldn't get peace. Oh and if any of them got stung, the little darlings would create merry hell and the rozzers would take their side as usual. Why is it not feasible for you? I'm asking just in case you have thought of something that I havent![]()
