Just on the train up to the shows, anyone else going.

Sadly internet show is av waste of time, but a few stands I need to see.
 
Couple of my colleagues are going to infosec tomorrow, as we are in a small sub-section of the IT security business. I'm not going (thankfully!)

Shows were interesting in the 1980s as people would turn up with stuff like add-ons for home micros that they'd built in their shed, exhibit it on a trestle table as a bundle of wires, veroboard and LEDs, possibly with a couple of dot matrix printed sheets explaining what it was supposed to be. Some of it was actually really good (some was "why on earth did they bother?" as well though)

Been a long while since I've been to an IT related show now, but last I saw it had all gone very corporate and bland.
 
I used to goto infosec every year but last year I decided not to go and am not bothering again this year - it has lost it's appeal
