Hello.
I need a photographer ASAP for tomorrow afternoon. My company deals with professional photography. One of my photographers is down and we need someone to cover his shift tommorow for a wedding in Blakelands MK. I will stick to our normal pay which is 20 pounds per hour. You need to have a digital camera and will use the company's memory card to capture the event. Payment will be made at the end of the day. Please call me as soon as possible if you're available.

If anyone is interested go here http://www.freeindex.co.uk/lead(wedding-photographer-required-asap-in-milton-keynes)_55504.htm

If I lived closer I would have given it a bash for a little cash, no editing or post work :)

It sounds like an extra shooter or assistant though and I presume they'll be a pro doing the main shots.

Hope so anyway!

Considering they are pretty much taking anyone according to the ad, there are surely some have-a-go-henrys who'll have 100 quid off them for a few hours of their time! With no post-process and cash in hand, thats not such a bad deal for an amateur.

oh god these are just getting better and better :D

hilarious.

I love the bit about 'a digital camera'. I wouldn't do that to the bride showing up with my old Sony P100 :P

I suppose as an amateur it would be good for the practice, copy card before handover and you have the option of messing about with your images after. As I said good for an amateur/trainee but rubbish and really unfair for the wedding party, and whilst I don't know the going rate I did not think it would be £20 ph.

Yes so unfair for the wedding party, and what about knowledge on the running order of the day, the location, where you can stand where you can't, the spots for the photos, lighting, etc...There is so much more to it than just taking a photo, a wedding party relies on a wedding photographer to know all these things, they should have more experience than you at it and know the venue(s) etc.

I'm getting married next year, considering minimum wedding pricing is around £500, it's companies like this which have sent my research this way.

According to this advert, I'm qualified with my 'digital camera' - my Sony Cybershot which cost me £50 from argos!

I hope this company have good insurance... for their own sake!
