dinorock, i think they will be pretty well known, the groups who have done their presentations so far seemed to find theirs quite easily...lecturer must have given us the hard one

Hi There
This photograph was taken by the famous street photographer Walker Evans in Florida in 1941. Its quite a famous one actually. I never seen it online I am afraid, but it is in the book "Bystander: A History of Street Photography" by Colin Westerbeck and Jeol Weyerowitz. Where did you come across it, may I ask?

Oh right, Ive just read your post again. You were given it in college. If your college library has no Walker Evans books, or the book I mentioned I can scan for you the text discussing it

I can't thank you enough Stephen! I've actually borrowed a couple of Walker Evans books from the library in the past but never came across this one. If you could scan it in that would be really helpful, if its not too much hassle :) cheers again!

No probs, glad to be a help. There is a typo in my last post by the way. The second authors name is actually Joel Meyerowitz, in case you want to get the book. I'll scan it in in a while for you.

Nice one Dylan, what a helpful star. Maybe you will be mentioned in dispatches :clap:

Enjoy, hope you can read it. Must quote the title and authors in case I screwed for copyright
