Girlfriend graduates in 2-3 hours and Dave may be selling a lens, would be nice to get it before the event!
 
Try sending him a pm - if he has notification set, he will get an email from this site telling him that there is a pm waiting for him, and the content of the pm.

Bah, nevermind, probably won't see my message in time, looks like I'll have to stick to my borrowed 50mm, this is going to be a ball ache, what with trying to take group shots in a cramped hall from about 10 meters away!
 
Unfortunately not, there was one in Nottingham where I live, but it was half the price of the lens to borrow it for 3 days!

take them in stages and stick them together in photoshop
