Does it have to be flash/js ?

well i must admit im new to this so what else is there?

Jalbum is pretty good and is free

I use a photoshop script called Simple Viewer.

Works a treat....

Low Res Demo > http://www.airtightinteractive.com/simpleviewer/lores/

Ignore the ugly background on the demo!
This FREE software works like a dream.

I don't think it's a Photoshop script, it's more likely Flash scripted with ActionScript.

Anyway, I've used it myself for a gallery of photos I did at a friend's wedding, works well there (it's not a public gallery, though).

thanks for your help guys

i used the jalbum to make the album then used an iframe to put it on my website

let me know what you think

Try and not use frames if possible.

Firstly you need to widen it a little. There's nothing worse than having to scroll horizontally to see something.

The header looks a little "dated" with the bevel and hard shadows. Also, what does RV stand for?

Just some constructive criticism.

yeh no problem mate i need any advice i can get, its fairly new and im just trying to see what works best

and i no what u mean the frames a real hassle im gonna try somthing else

and rv is just mine and the other owner of the website's initials

im having trouble with all of these suggestions

are there are any easy to use ones out there?

I'm afraid i'm going to have to correct you here.
I use this all the time. :)

From the website....

Creating a SimpleViewer gallery with Photoshop

Follow these steps to create a SimpleViewer gallery using Photoshop CS2 or CS3 (Windows or Macintosh). Thanks to Jeffrey Tranberry at Adobe for providing this excellent script.

Anyway it's sorted now. :D

Seems that nobody has mentioned Flickr.

1. Get a Flickr account if you don't already have one www.flickr.com.
2. Upload as many pics as you want, add the tag "slideshow" to the photos that you want to include in the slideshow.
3. Go to http://idgettr.com/ to get your Flickr id
4. Copy and place the following code into your site:

<iframe align=center src=http://www.flickr.com/slideShow/index.gne?user_id=12345678@N00&tags=slideshow frameBorder=0 width=500 scrolling=no height=500></iframe>

Now change the pink variables, the user id becomes yours of course.

You can of course create several slideshows simply by including new tags in your photos "sunset_slideshow" for example, then change the tag in the code.

I use it for my site: www.jtportfolio.co.uk

Hope that helps :)
