No
I just took delivery of these triggers from ebay, I ordered ones that were listed as for Nikon on eBay but when I got it they say "more suitable for canon" even the instructions inside say canon.

I have read some sites online that say they are universal and some that say they have a particular fit but I am confused.

Does anyone know if I have the right triggers or not?

Have you bought a trigger or receiver?

Receivers are universal with a shoe contact pattern that fits both Canon and Nikon.

Transmitters are different and require the correct foot pattern for you camera to work fully, such as remote flash wake up. They may or may not fire as dumb triggers via the universal position of the centre pin.

If your transmitter shoe contact pattern does not match your Camera contact pattern, send it back as you have the wrong one.

If i remember rightly it is the pc sync cable that is different, the cable fits the camera if you want to fire that when the receiver is mounted on the camera and plugged in the side.(sort of wireless remote)
I did use the flash triggers on nikon after using them on a canon, i swapped them for a 603 as they can be both. I would test them and see if you don't fire the flash then let them know.

This is what i've bought and after testing it after work I've realised they've sent the Canon ones which do work but I don't get the max sync speed because of the wake up issue.

Pretty annoying to be honest because they took long enough to come and I was going to use them for a fashion shoot next week.

I would just send them back, and ask them to send the right ones before you do, they claim to be UK based, although i would question that, i don't see why it takes over a week to get a delivery within the UK for anything, unless it isn't in stock, and they are clearly saying that they are in stock.

Well I have figured out that it's a HK company with some kind of UK warehouse.

I would suggest the time it took was down to how long it takes them to communicate with the warehouse.

Send them back! I have just bought that item and it arrived yesterday. On the trigger box says "more suitable for Nikon camera".

I've got the RF-603 for my D90 and they're brilliant, two identical pieces, interchangeable, can't see any reason for the 602.

Can you send me the ebay link so I can buy them from someone who actually sends the Nikon versions?

Remote shutter release for one.
