See this link for more info. But, weather permitting, it seems that the aurora may be visible from northern latitudes in the UK.
 
Fingers crossed but the west coast has been cloudy for days and the forcast is more of the same next few days, feels like its been raining since christmas :thumbsdown:
 
Im right on the corner of the NE so i'll have to keep an eye out. Cheers for the heads up.
 
There's absolutely no chance of seeing anything at the moment even if it is clear - the northern sky is still light as the sun just dips below the horizon for a couple of hours at this time of year. To see the aurora clearly you need dark skies. :)

Must be either a brocher or a blue tooner then? haha.

In Aberdeen and can't see anything yet.

Brocher, not a blue tooner ( thank god :D)

I was out at about 01:30 this morning looking. Clear skies but too light to see anything.
 
Oooh looks like we're at war then. Tooner here.

Went to bed pretty soon after my post last night but kept pulling the curtains back every so often for a look, but couldn't see a thing.

(Probably cos id taken my contacts out mind you)
