Yes
Id love to talk to people that own them (over coffee and cake - my treat!) and if possible even look at them and look through the VF etc

I want to buy one but want a bit of practical experience with them first

Anyone fancy a hang out?

I remember when I was in Germany in the British Army ( RAMC) I was sent to BMH Isrerlohn from BMH Berlin and in Iserlohn there was a Camera shop -- in the window were NEW Rolleiflex 2.8F and LEICA IIIg -- it was £82 in British Money !! In the Canadian Maple leaf Store you could buy NEW LEICA IIIf + 50mm f3.5 Elmar for £ 45 ------

A really clean iiig is now 10X that on "the bay"... :/
The F isnt too badly priced now days

I just missed national service as it was deferred until I finished my apprenticeship at 21...just before that time it was abolished so I missed the mob by a few months (y)

Ha ha ! So you didn't 'Get You're 'Air Cut you 'Orrible Little Man' then !!

Well IMO National service was outrageous... to take two years off a young man's life to save the government paying out for professional armed forces, as some NS guys were in Malaya helping to fight terrorists. If you want a back up force to fight an enemy that might invade your homeland then IMO 6 months is good enough for weapons training and being taught how to receive orders or whatever
rant over and back to photography ;)
