What kind of images are those, are they raw, tiff, jpeg or png?
Have you enabled opening them in RawTherapee settings?
Can you see their thumbnails if you browse (in RawTherapee) to the directory they're in?

Thank you very much ive managed to get my images in across the bottom but i still dont see the settings, but i will keep looking and play around a bit
