Oh so true. How can people (that you haven't seen for years since leaving school etc) actually class you as a friend. Surely if they were a friend you wouldn't need to go on facebook to talk to them for the first time in 10 years.

Don't get me wrong, my girlfriend uses wastebook to keep in touch with many friends she's made from travelling, but for me it just seems a bit sad that I need to log on to the net to talk to people that I have no interest over. Oh and it's a huge stalking ground too lol. I could go on but I won't lol.

Having happily poured scorn on the whole social networking phenomenon since it's inception (I loathe it nearly as much as those mind numbingly boring christmas round robin newsletters I always seem to recieve from narcisistic, self-absorbed **** who are probably distant relatives or the friends of a bloke I once met), I had to sign up the other day for a project at work. :bang:

So I've joined the TP group in the hope that it might be Facebooks only redeeming feature.. ;)
