Anyone had problems with 7Dayshop?

I ordered a couple of simple items from 7Dayshop yesterday - Batteries 4 x CR2 and 2 x 2CR5, and received an email this morning saying they were both out of stock.
Has anyone else had recent dealings with this supplier, as this is the first time I have used them?

Usually very good. Last order was slightly late but that's about it. I've never had cause for complaint.
Usually says at time of order if items are in stock.

Never had a problem with them. Even when I returned an item I wasn't happy with, they just refunded it with no questions asked.
 
As above, never really had any issues with them.

Postage can sometimes be a bit on the slow side, but no real complaints.

At least they let you know they were out of stock, having a look in the suppliers section and there are a few very dissatisfied people dealing with DSG over cameras that were on offer, money taken and not in stock...

Did they give a due date ??
 
Cheers guys, just checking as it is the first time, and a bit of a coincidence for both items to be out of stock.

They are based in the Channel Islands, so post is always a little slow in my experience, no problems though -ever! I suppose that works both ways with suppliers too, so stock can run out.
 
Agree with most/ all comments so far.

Not had any problems with them personally, but feel delivery could be a little quicker
 
All my transactions with them have been spot on
 
A recent order came quickly (well within a week) and prices are so good that it's worth the usual wait.
 
I use them all the time. I have ordered a few packs of batteries with them too recently and the charger. Sorry you cant get yours :-(
 
You guys have helped calm me down, and as pointed out, they have contacted me quickly to let me know they are out of stock.
I am just impatient to put a few rolls of film through a couple of old SLRs, and was horrified to see the price of batteries locally.
 
Delivery time - the other reason why it's called 7-Day Shop. ;)

I've been using 'em for over twenty years and problems are very, very rare.

I've always found them to be reliable :|.
 
Been using 7DayShop since 2002 and never had a problem. A little on the slow side when you used to pay for delivery but since they started free delivery they have been even better.

Andy, what does your EMail actually say?

The "out of stock" mail I received when my last order was unavailable informed me that they wouldn't debit my card until the item was available for dispatch and that I could go back to the site and cancel my order at any time up until then if I didn't want to wait.

TBH I don't think you can get much fairer than that.

I've used them numerous times over the last few years and really can't fault them at all.
 
I have had the out of stock email after they took my order as well.

They are also spammers. I ticked the no emails box which they ignored so I unsubscribed which they acknowledged but continued. I emailed them stating that if I got another spam from them I would block them so being unable to do further bussiness with them which they ignored so I blocked them. They also passed my email address to a sister company with who I had a similar performance.
 
I've been buying from them for years and have only had an out of stock problem once but they were pretty quick at processing the refund
 
Bought from them for years, as long as you don't need it urgently (7dayship from 7dayshop) it's fine. They have the best prices for most stuff in the UK.
 
Never had any problems wjith them. As others have said they are not the fastest when it comes to delivery, i suppose thats why the prices are so competative.
 
Update - have had another email, confirming part delivery of one half of the order, so I will chill out in the meantime. The weather is pretty awful anyway, so I wouldn't be using the camera yet.
Their prices are pretty amazing, so I can see why they may have problems sourcing some of the kit.
 
Love 7dayshop, been using them for years with no problems. Hope your items come soon
