Anyone got a Sigma 150mm F2.8 macro?(ideally nikon fit)

Any idea how to set it to manual focus? Ive just got mine, and first impressions... wow, its heavy! Built like a tank and feels great. Its a bit dark at the moment to test it properly, but playing around I can't figure out how to set it to MF. The instructions go on about a switch on the back endof the lens, which I don't have, and also moving the focus ring forwards and backwards.. which it doesn't do. Pictures on the internet show a switch, but mine hasn't got one. Im confused.

Manual focus is just the big ol' ring near the end of the lens. No switch on mine except for the one to limit AF distances. Set camera to MF, rotate ring!

Neither does mine !
I use the af/m switch on the camera body D70, or s/c/m on D200

The D40x doesn't have a mf/af switch though. Its in the menu, which I don't want to have to trawl through.
