Anyone going to Old Warden Flying Evening Sat?

Went last year and it was brilliant. Weather looks ok, perhaps a little windy for really old planes like the box kite, but should be a nice day.

Really nice place and great for kids too. Great lay area, and a very nice airfield. Much closer to the action compared to duxford. Think I may need to hijack the pushchair as my bag weighs a ton!

Was thinking about it but some damn football match has intervened!
I agree it's a brilliant venue, will certainly be going to the next display.

I had thought about going to Abingdon tomorrow but sadly there isn't enough to interest me this year, also it's Bank Holiday and all that entails.

Decided yesterday to go to this but am now undecided due to the wind forecast.

Would love to go but will probably have to take the sprogs.

Can I ask is the children's play area easily accessible from the display viewing area, indeed can you have one eye on the sprogs and the other on the planes??

No wind at all at moment and although sme showers now sunny. Kids area a couple of mins walk from flightline
