As outlined in my earlier post, I've been experiencing the lure of the Holga 120 over the past couple of weeks. I've decided that it's not for me and was going to send it back to the charity shop I bought it from, but wondered if anyone on here wanted to try it for themselves? It'll cost me £3.10 to either send it back or pass it on to someone here, who would then send it on to another member or back to the charity shop if nobody else wanted to try it. (This is NOT a sale or Freebie thread for clarity) It won't be going back until the start of next week, so a few days for anyone to express an interest.

@BADGER.BRAD had suggested the Holga performed better with closer subjects rather than landscapes, so I went closer with the second film. This was again HP5+ in HC-110 Dil B, but not as sunny as the day of the first film.

#1 Derelict hotel Carrbridge, but a "Resi opportunity" according to the notice out front.

Yes please! I almost bought one recently. Would love to try one and then either forward it on or whatever.

I then shot a 3rd film (Delta 3200 shot at iso 800 in HC-110 Dil B, but dull weather has left it underexposed.

#1 Statue and piper, Nairn. This appeared a lot closer in the viewfinder, but here it is full frame.

#2 NHS Blood Bike, again a lot further away than it appeared in the viewfinder (The fly in the corner was an extra, and has been removed!)

That'll be you first in line Gareth, so I'll hang fire to see if there are any other takers. (y)

I was also after one, chasing a few in ebay currently so if the opportunity is still open, please put me on the list.

I already have a Holga so don't need to participate in this kind offer ... but I love the images shown and am impressed by the fact that the piper appears to travel by cycle !
The irony here is that I cursed the cyclist when he arrived just as I was about to take a shot of the statue, so I carried on walking out to the end of the breaakwater. By the time I walked back a few minutes later, he had produced the pipes and became the key to the photo. Alas, a lot further away than he looked in the viewfinder, but that's part of the learning curve. Could I have bunged him a couple of quid to move closer to the statue for me? Maybe, but I'm not a street photographer and it didn't even dawn on me to do that. :$
