£0 at the mo - here

They've got it covered in their Ts&Cs

The Company reserves the right to revise prices up to the despatch of the Goods to reflect any direct or indirect increase in costs to the Company

Hmmm not seen that sort of condition before in T&C's. Surely that's illegal? They can revise the price, sure, but only *before* they take payment.

Once theyve taken payment a contract is formed, and thus standard contract law applies. Such a term like that is sure to be unfair to one party in the contract (the buyer) so I would guess would be illegal.

Yes, I guess it does seem to be unfair, cos they could take any order, then revise the price as they see fit. But I guess they'd have to give you notice of the price change before sending the product and charging your credit card.

I do seem to remember now that big online sellers have some kind of get-out clause which allows them to not sell an item if they've genuinely made a pricing mistake on their website - I remember reading something about this regarding another company (maybe Tesco I think:thinking: ).

Rich :)

I'm sure the legislation states that if it is obvious that the price is a mistake then it won't stand.

I think in this case it is fairly obvious. Didn't stop me putting in an order though

looks iffy :suspect: i'd not give them my card details! :D

hmmmm, I dunno, I'd have to pay for postage  :D

I half went through with the order just to seee, and it came up with a blank Postage amount....

If it's free postage, then just put any CC details in, they shouldnt be charging it so should never know :p
