Got a file from an old friend earlier.
His daughter got married abroad and the images came on a cd.
Problem is they are 400kb each.
I did a bigger version for him but thought i would put the smaller one plus the bigger one on here to see what anyone can come up with.

Not a great photo. But editing another togs work regardless of its quality unless the couple own the copyright :nono:

Oh i totally was not aware of this. Oh wait..yes i was. The Copyright police strike again. :gag:
 
Well, what did you expect? Your friend got 400kb images precisely for that reason. They're fine to look at on a monitor but not for printing. To post this on a forum where a lot of photographers who solely make their living from photo work, and ask people to edit the shot is incredibly dumb.

What on earth do you expect fella, theft is theft and you're actually worse than your friend, he can plead ignorance while your defence is purely stupidity.

Not big on sarcasm are we. I do know the copyright rules and on the dvd it says ..wait for it...wait for it. "Copyright the sole property of the DVD Owner".

So Mumar and Gary, do you both want to grab your "Im Dumb" Hats and go sit in the damn corner and stay out of the conversation or better still go learn to read.

so only at post #6 is it revealed that copyright is potentially not an issue.......:shrug:

Now I am sure if this had been mentioned in post 1 then you may have got a better response????????? Just wondering what Matt and Gary were supposed to have read above ???????

As for editing the picture - I'll pass on that one, as nothing has been mentioned as to the effect required..........

In all honesty m8 i would have thought anyone with half a brain would have thought "ok its not his first post so the copyright will have been checked." I tend not to question requests like this on the forum as i give the guys some credit for knowing the score.

But let me take what others have mentioned a step further...
Do we now have to get every poster of a picture in the picture section to prove they did actually take and own the picture?
Of course we dont, we take it as read that they know the rules and have permissions.
It would be very short on pictures if that was the case.
 
Why didn't you just say that in the first place. now all you have done is be VERY rude to people. If you're that smart, DO IT YOURSELF. Anyone with half a brain could improve this, so go for it!!!!!
 
Look dumb ass, you never mentioned the copyright so dont get smart, and as far as im concerned there is still a copyright issue, do you own the DVD, no, then youre not the copyright owner.

Now as i see it you're a real smart individual with at least half a brain so go edit it yourself.

wow, immature central. Could clean it up...but why bother, some people never seem to learn how to communicate politely.
