Good to visit, of course I was aware of Workhouses but to see it in person is something else.
Some of the history is a little too close though, they were still housing homeless families (due to domestic violence etc) there until the early 80's. The current children's home (for young people with disabilities) nextdoor was also once also part of the workhouse. I found the late 20th century/21st century parts unsettling, probably because my employment was social care.
