Thinking of changing up to one of these in the estate version, it will be the old model pre 2008.
Anyone own/drive/driven one or any thoughts or opinions good or bad about them?.

I was on another forum today (motoring) and it was said that the Mazda forum's are the most boring motoring forums on the net. Can't think of a better endorsement of the cars than that, no one complains.

I had an early 626 in the 80's which was perfect - nothing went wrong at all. Tried Mazda again many years later with a top model 626 V6. Car was a complete lemon. Auto box failed, tyres wore out every 6 months...the list went on. Could have been bad luck. I put it down to ford taking over. No more mazdas for me!

isnt it based on the mondeo chassis???

id suggest its probably a better buy to plump for a mundeno though

oh i forgot

ITS FIT!

what sort of a **** statement is that:thinking::shrug:

Better off with a 15 year old Nissan.

It'll probably be more reliable.

Although not quite as shiny.

Mmmm, during dithering for so long about changing my car I keep looking at my **MINT** one owner dealer serviced 7 year old Honda Civic estate and now after looking at the Parkers guide I see that it is only worth £1900 as a trade-in .
Here's me looking at Mazda 6 estates up to £16500 :cuckoo:
I am doing the sensible thing and keeping the Honda for now, but my next car will definitely be the Mazda 6 estate I think the new one is soooooo lovely.
