Anyone drive a Hyundai ?

Neighbour drives an ix20, looks a smart car. Don't know the spec of it but it has the full length glass roof thing and looks real nice. She has two kids and there is plenty room for them all

That is the "Style" it has the sunroof I am after.

I'm driving an auto hyundai from work just now, steering is terrible (sorry don't know the model, it is brand new though, small hatch back thing)

Norty, both hands on the wheel, please and no texting / internetting while driving
or you'l have the forum :police: after you :p

lol, I see what you mean :)

EDIT : Brim to brim economy from the first full tank was 53.2 mpg in mixed driving with mostly short journeys - 4.5 miles per time - in light traffic. The trip computer recorded 52.8 mpg overall, so pretty darned close.
To add to the above, we just took the Cee'd 2 1.6 CRDi (126) for a week away in Cornwall. We covered 780 miles, sticking more or less to the speed limits, and finished the week with overall economy of 59 mpg. That's a saving of around £80 on the fuel costs I might have expected from my Nissan 200 SX for the same week.

No complaints about the car in other departments either. Last year we shared the driving in my partner's Fiesta. This year, in the Cee'd, I drove the whole time and never once felt tired/stressed/uncomfortable. It is still a new car, so there may be a little bit of "Emperor's new clothes" about it, but I always looked forward to driving it.

Great update Tim, I am still looking at the i30 but probably wont have funds to swap cars till after Christmas :(
I have yet to see one with the full sunroof in the flesh as they are like hen's teeth up here, not even a new one to look at!

I do around 15k per year, but only getting 36mpg currently.

You should look on some American forums. They think 19 MPG is good!

I had a Hyundai Santa Fe once. Got rid of it quickly. You could actually see the fuel gauge move towards zero as you were driving.

Steve.

Steve.

Remember that the American gallon is smaller than the British gallon, so you can't directly compare the figures for MPG from both countries unless you convert it. I think 19 MPG in the USA is about 24-25 MPG here.
