If so is it worth paying for the fast track tickets? Do you really save much time?

Been a couple of times it doesnt matter what tickets you buy the wheel goes around at the same speed:D Sounds like a rip off to me;)

Not really.
We jumped a very long queue with fast track tickets.
It was a good few years ago though.

I watched them struggling to build it from my living room. Really can't see the attraction of it.

Spend the money on a nice meal instead :)

Been on once as a gift, personally I don't think it is worth the money unless you like to see some rooftops and chimneys, nothing you ain't seen on telly.

This is bizarre. Not only have we worked in the same town, we've also lived in the same building (assuming you mean the County Hall apartments, by Magnum Square?).

Yes I had an apartment in the County Hall indeed :) was lovely, quick swim before work and a short walk towards Fleet Street at the time. I wished I kept it as I'm now in Westminster area.

Hi Simon, we've done it a few times as get fast track with our Merlin passes. I think it is worth doing generally - and also like having the fast track. Obviously depends how busy it is / what time you go but we've jumped some big queues. If you intend on doing any of the other attractions near it (Dungeon / Aquarium) then be sure to check out the combo tickets that you can get as they are much better value than paying seperately.

What a small world. I was working in Bishopsgate and had the joy of using the Waterloo & City line every day. Loved the Tattershall Castle boat comedy gigs on the Thames. :)

My daughter lives in Florida she came over with our granddaughters and we did the London eye but we booked the champagne flight. Well worth it. Not that crowded so we could move around. The other pods were crowded. We had s great trip and didn't wait a long line. Just turned up at our reserved time

Yes, went on it about ten years ago. Nice day, but no big queues so didn't even think about the express tickets. Since then I've occasionally, but regularly worked on the 23rd floor of a building nearby, so have seen the views at leisure. Watched the Shard being built too. That was fun.
