I did take one of mine apart to replace a damaged foot and found a parts catalog online to help - same as here, it might help you understand what's involved - good luck, if I recall it was very fiddly.............
What you appear to be doing is way beyond the basic foot repair I executed
- but looking at the exploded parts diagram again, the part 1464 seems first to be fixed in place with a small screw 1454 (4 of securing the PCB) then you can see a small cutout to the front of the part which I guess may be placed over a locating pin/upright on the flash body or this right angle part could simply be secured by the screw fixing it into the right angle between the PCB and the casing?
The front section of 1464 is also angled presumably in order to place a small screwdriver underneath to remove it from the locating upright or side section of the flash body casing?
If you look on page 1 at the area cyn-4109 and zoom in to 200% or more you can see the part 1464 in more detail where its still fixed to the PCB and then compare this to the exploded section on page 2 - Good luck, hope you manage to get your repair job done........
