Hmmmm! accurate but pedantic ;) ~ perhaps?

But it has always been that the '0' year is counted as part of the preceding decade......does any year counting system start or show year 0(zero). Was there such a year between 1BC and 1AD???

Well, I'm 56 so I'm in my 57th year. A child isn't in their 1st year after their 1st birthday.

I'm not being pedantic, the OP is just a year late. ;)
 
I suppose the American date sort of works today - "1, 2, 3, 2, 1." but I'm not sure any sound engineers can count that high!!! :P:P:P:P:P (That's 5 for any sound engineers still reading. :P)
