Stepson's desktop has bit the dust & is 4 yrs old!

So I'm looking for a laptop (his choice), to play games on.

Anyone tried these guys?

To be honest if I was going to by a Dell refurbished laptop I would buy it direct from Dell

No but his feedback looks good,as has been said have you tried Dell themself ?,might get just as good a deal from them.

I bought my XPS M1710 from him/them over five years ago. I saved ~£400 on the price direct from Dell, including three year on site warranty. I needed warranty repair twice in the third year due to video card problems and it was fixed both times without drama. I'm still using the machine today.

If I was in the market for another Dell I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him/them again if the deal was right. However, it's also worth a gander in the Dell Outlet too. Certainly some bargains pop up there from time to time. Also, with suitable cash back websites and discount codes you can actually knock quite a bit off Dell's headline prices, so shop around and work out which route offers best value (not necessarily cheapest price).
